For this months, an elderly gentleman had been using a plastic pipe as a makeshift walking aid. It was unstable, uncomfortable, and unsafe — yet it was the only support he had to move around. Every step he took was a struggle, and the risk of falling was always present.

When his situation came to the attention of Alim Foundation, the team immediately recognized the urgency of his need. After a brief assessment, the Foundation provided him with a proper, durable, and comfortable walking stick designed to support his mobility.

The impact was immediate.

With the new walking stick, he can now walk steadily, safely, and with confidence. His daily activities have become easier, and he no longer fears losing balance. Most importantly, he feels a renewed sense of dignity — something a simple plastic pipe could never provide.
